Out of the Shadows: I took this photo around the school, but loved the super creative and intriguing look to it. Even though it is a corner between two walls, the way the sun is shining it creating one side being lighter and the other darker. It was just by fluke that the two markings appearing on either side of the wall, and the one on the right being darker than the one on the left. I thought this was a super neat aspect of shadows.

Authentic Emotions: This photo was taken of my older brother, Ryland. For this weekly challenge i used my two brothers and aunt to express an emotion. I chose my older brothers as i liked how bold and obvious the emotion felt. His excited and happy emotion makes people happy and laugh when looking. I think it also looks stronger black and white as it seems more bold.
Shades Of Blue: I thought this photo was very unique and interesting. Even thought its just a typical wire fence, then way the spray paint is as well as the wooden background gives the photo a neat aspect. I love the way the photo is focused and how only the blue is in focus. I think the red blurred in the background gives the photo a bigger pop.
Still Life: I took this photo of a glass wine holder on top of a wooden table and place mat. I thought the way this picture was focused is very neat as to the top of the holder and light reflection in focus. I like the mood and setting of the photo as well. I think the fact that the photo only includes half of the holder gives an intriguing aspect as well as professional.
Animals: This photo was taken of my cat, Simba. I decided to use my cat as my model as first of all he seems very photogenic and model like, as well as he has taken a huge importance in my life. I have had Simba my whole life so he is very special to me, which is why i thought this photo was my favourite. He is a very pretty cat and maybe has a career in pet modelling!!
Collections: This photo was taken at my cottage in Cultus Lake on some concrete stairs. I was stuck on what i should do for this theme, so i decided to just get a few rocks, leaves, and some fallen berries putting them into a neat pattern. This is my favourite photo as i like the way i focused the first bunch of the pattern, as well as the angle and lighting i got on the photo.
Trio: I took this photo on Valentines day where i had some candies and cupcakes, so i thought that would be a nice photo idea. I like this photo because there is three cupcakes not just one like there would usually be, hence trio. I think the pink, purple, Valentines day theme in the objects put against a white background. I think this photo looks delicious.
Letters Of The World: I took this photo in front of my house and used some letters i found to create the world "Learn". I like this photo because of the way the letters arnt straight, they are all over the place and crooked. I did this because i wanted to represent learning. Learning inst always easy, you'll understand some things and wont understand others. So i thought learning is like a roller coaster so i decided to place my words in a crazy order.
Jack Frost: I like this photo because of the the dog print left i the snow. The paw print obviously symbolizes that an animal has been there, most likely a dog. I took this outside by the football field when we had a pour of snow. I like the rule of thirds and birds eye view perspective i used in this photo. I love how the snow all around it is perfect and untouched, then in the middle is a paw imprinted in it.
Action:
For my Action photo, this one was my favorite, Even though it may look fake, this is a jumbo water balloon being dropped on the ground then exploding, and this photo captures the water bursting out from it. I thought this photo was really cool because of how the camera captured the water, This took a few balloon explosions and me getting soaked, but it was worth it. |
